What we do
Silicon Pathfinder is an independent advisory practice helping semiconductor companies make sound silicon technology decisions, whether moving to a new node, getting more out of an existing one, expanding into new markets, or exploring longer-range technology options.
The approach is practical: finding the solution that best fits each product's performance, power, cost and schedule needs.

About
Silicon Pathfinder was founded by Jeff Watt, former Intel Fellow and Altera Fellow, with decades of experience defining and enabling process technology for high-performance products shipped in volume, including Stratix 10 and Agilex FPGAs.
His work spans technology definition and benchmarking with leading foundries, device and interconnect modeling, test chips, and pathfinding in chiplets and co-packaged optics. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and more than 80 issued patents.
